The promotion of selected product lines is an important tool for any retailer. It promotes awareness and drives sales. Ford had this in mind when they asked Ideation to develop a multi-channel adverting campaign to promote selected Ford Performance models.
The Brief
The campaign objective was simple. To clear selected new and demonstrator performance stock, and increase passenger vehicle sales over a two-week period.

In response to this brief, Ideation’s creative and media teams developed the ‘Ford Performance Expo’.
Creative Thinking
The sales proposition featured a friendly invitation to test drive Ford’s premium models and highlighted the limited stock and sales period to drive urgency.
Design inspiration drew on Ford’s racing pedigree with the geometric linework, bold typography, and a distinctive blue & white colour palette.
Media Smarts
A highly targeted media plan used the allocated budget to maximum effect, providing national exposure across online, radio, and print channels. This included a strategic focus on the growing Chinese market in the Auckland region. The campaign was further supported on a local level through the use of dealership print and Facebook advertising.
The Result
